Candice specializes in treating adolescents, young adults, adults and families and has worked with families for 18 years. Candice earned her undergraduate degree in Education from Indiana University and went on to earn her Master’s in Counseling from Indiana University Indianapolis.
She specializes in anxiety, depression and trauma. She has extensive experience in helping young people succeed at school by treating academic, social, and behavior problems through her work as an award-winning middle school counselor.
She has experience treating mental health problems such as overwhelming sadness, risk-taking behaviors, intense fears, mood swings, drug and alcohol use, difficulty concentrating, self-harm, school struggles, panic attacks, anger outbursts, and much more.
Her counseling philosophy has roots in cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. She believes the cognitive behavioral approach is particularly effective in individual counseling. She will work with you to achieve change.
